Senior Accounts Receivable & Revenue Operations Specialist

About the role

Veta Virtual is seeking a senior professional to own the full revenue cycle for a fast‑growing roofing and construction business. You will bridge finance, field operations, and insurance billing to ensure smooth cash flow from estimate to cash.

Key responsibilities

• Generate project‑based invoices and progress billings, reconcile discrepancies, and track receivables across active job sites.
• Review invoice accuracy against contracts, insurance estimates, and supplemental approvals; resolve issues with project managers, sales reps, or insurers.
• Respond to homeowner, commercial client, and insurance carrier inquiries on billing and payments, taking ownership of collections.
• Support accurate revenue reporting by collaborating with the accounting team, tracking job costing, and reviewing project‑level financial summaries.
• Optimize and automate key systems such as QuickBooks Online and field‑service platforms (e.g., JobNimbus, AccuLynx).
• Communicate professionally with clients, insurers, and subcontractors regarding billing status and supplement documentation.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience in U.S. companies, with a strong focus on accounts receivable and revenue operations.
• Experience managing the full billing cycle in project‑based or job‑costed environments (estimate‑to‑cash).
• Familiarity with construction or roofing workflows is a major plus.
• Comfort working with insurance billing, including estimates, supplements, and payment structures.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to communicate financial details clearly to non‑finance stakeholders.
