About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Secondary Psychology Teacher to deliver engaging, curriculum‑aligned lessons to high‑school students. The role involves fostering a supportive learning environment, assessing student progress, and contributing to the school’s academic community.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver effective lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and accommodate diverse learning styles.
• Maintain a safe, orderly classroom and implement management strategies that promote positive behavior.
• Develop, administer, and analyze assessments to monitor student progress and provide targeted support.
• Encourage student participation, motivation, and collaboration through inclusive teaching practices.
• Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with educational research.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues to support student success.
• Contribute to curriculum development and ensure instructional materials are up‑to‑date.
• Uphold ethical standards, school policies, and confidentiality.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and serve as a mentor and role model.
• Provide academic, social, and emotional support, collaborating with counselors and support staff as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Certification in Psychology.
• Previous teaching experience (preferred).
• Ability to create an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and ethical conduct.
