About the role
Join Jackson Hewitt as a Seasonal Tax Preparer working at a tax kiosk inside Walmart. No prior tax experience is required; you will receive free training and ongoing support to prepare individual tax returns for shoppers.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare accurate federal and state tax returns using Jackson Hewitt proprietary software.
- Assist clients with tax questions and provide excellent customer service.
- Engage Walmart shoppers to promote services and build relationships.
Required profile
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong customer‑service skills.
- Self‑motivated, comfortable working independently and approaching shoppers.
- Basic computer proficiency and attention to detail.
Required skills
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to complete required tax preparation training and obtain a PTIN.
