Sales Representative - Formwork and Scaffolding

About the role

Doka, part of the Umdasch Group, is looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented and results-driven Sales Representative to support sales operations and business development in Panama, Colombia, Central America and the Caribbean. The position is based in Panama City and requires availability to travel within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to country and regional sales strategies with market intelligence, sector insights and competitor information, and develop an annual territory sales plan aligned with the Central America strategy.
• Build and expand long-term relationships with contractors, developers and engineers, manage key accounts and act as the main commercial contact for assigned customers and projects.
• Define the commercial and technical scope of services with Engineering and Operations, prepare compliant technical and commercial offers, and apply value-based pricing.
• Monitor competitor activity and pricing, and support project monitoring, handover to Operations, credit exposure and customer complaints.
• Collaborate across Sales, Engineering, Operations and Finance, and promote compliance, training and innovation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales or a related field.
• At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in construction, formwork or scaffolding, with proven experience in complex, project-based sales cycles.
• Business proficiency in English, spoken and written.
• Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship management skills, with analytical thinking, financial acumen and excellent communication skills.

Required skills

• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and construction documentation.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and Microsoft Office tools.
