Sales Manager – Automotive Products

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead the coordination of automotive product sales across Panama. You will develop and execute sales and marketing strategies, manage dealer relationships, and drive growth in a competitive market.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate sales of vehicles and components, formulate and execute strategies to meet targets.
• Develop, maintain, and manage dealer and direct customer relationships for long‑term cooperation.
• Gather market insights, monitor industry trends and competitor activity, and adapt sales tactics accordingly.
• Plan and execute marketing initiatives, organize events, trade shows and product launches.
• Handle daily communication, contract negotiations and provide product training to dealers.
• Conduct market research, track sales metrics, and prepare regular performance reports.
• Collaborate with marketing, product and supply‑chain teams to align supply, promotion and sales efforts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, International Trade, Automotive Engineering or related field.
• More than 5 years of sales experience in the automotive industry, preferably with nationwide market expansion.
• Strong negotiation, business development and market insight abilities.
• High sense of responsibility, execution capability and excellent communication skills.
• Fluency in English and Spanish and extensive local market connections.

Required skills

• Data analysis for sales strategy formulation.
• Basic financial knowledge for price negotiations and contract management.
