Sales Account Director – Telecommunications Operators

About the role

We are seeking a strategic and results‑driven Sales Account Director to manage the Millicom (Tigo) account in Panama and LATAM. The role focuses on building long‑term relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and driving revenue for our telecommunications services.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and develop the Millicom (Tigo) account, strengthening relationships and identifying growth opportunities.
• Develop and implement account strategies aligned with business objectives and customer expectations.
• Coordinate with internal technical and project teams to create tailored solutions and competitive commercial proposals.
• Participate actively in competitive bidding processes, preparing tender proposals and responding to RFPs.
• Monitor market trends and telecommunications technologies to define action plans and ensure timely delivery of products and services.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 7 years of sales, account management, or business development experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience managing strategic client accounts and building long‑term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills with a customer‑focused mindset.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with CRM systems.
