Public Partnership Specialist (P-3)

About the role

The Public Partnership Specialist will support UNICEF LACRO in strengthening engagement with governments, international financial institutions, foundations and other strategic partners to advance child‑centered policies and mobilize resources.

Key responsibilities

• Implement work plans to deliver results in line with UNICEF’s partnership strategy.
• Identify, develop and broker new partnerships and resource‑mobilization agreements.
• Screen inquiries from potential collaborators and facilitate communication with relevant UNICEF staff.
• Maintain a database of key contacts and expand UNICEF’s network of interlocutors.
• Develop and implement annual partnership engagement and resource‑mobilization plans.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in international relations, political science, communications, international development, public policy or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum five years of professional experience in partnerships, public affairs, programme management, resource mobilization or external relations.
• Strong diplomatic communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in both Spanish and English.

• In‑depth knowledge of partnership development and resource mobilization.
• Familiarity with political and governmental processes and policy analysis.
