Phone Onboarding Specialist (Native English)

About the role

Companian provides virtual care coordination for seniors in the United States. As a Phone Onboarding Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for patients referred by physicians, guiding them through enrollment and preparing them to meet their dedicated care advocate.

Key responsibilities

• Call newly referred patients and families, introduce Companian and confirm interest in enrollment.
• Explain the program in clear, simple language, covering the role of the care advocate, interaction with doctors, and cost structure.
• Capture consent and complete enrollment paperwork using the company platform.
• Gather intake information such as contact details, insurance, caregiver contacts, and preferred call times.
• Schedule the patient’s first call with their assigned advocate.
• Follow up with patients who miss the initial call and document every interaction accurately.

Required profile

• Native or near‑native English speaking and writing ability.
• Based in Panama with reliable internet and a quiet workspace for calls.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to repeat information calmly.
• Experience in patient intake, healthcare administration, customer support, or senior‑focused roles is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation.
• Availability during U.S. Eastern business hours.
