Payment Sales Manager – LATAM (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Payment Sales Manager to drive merchant acquisition across Latin America. This remote, full‑time position focuses on high‑volume merchants in iGaming, Forex, crypto, digital entertainment, and cross‑border e‑commerce.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and acquire high‑volume merchants across targeted verticals.
• Own the end‑to‑end sales cycle: prospecting, outreach, qualification, pitching, negotiation, and contract signing.
• Understand merchant challenges related to payment conversion, local payment methods, settlement, reserves, and processing stability.
• Present tailored payment solutions covering cards, bank transfers, digital wallets, and alternative methods.
• Coordinate with Risk, Compliance, Integration, and Operations teams to onboard and activate merchants.
• Support signed merchants through integration and scaling of transaction volume.
• Build and maintain a strong LATAM pipeline through networks, referrals, outbound outreach, and industry events.
• Track performance metrics such as signed merchants, activated accounts, processing volume, and revenue.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of direct sales or business development experience at a PSP, acquirer, payment gateway, fintech, or merchant acquiring company.
• Proven track record of acquiring payment merchants, not just managing existing accounts.
• Existing relationships with merchants in iGaming, Forex, crypto, digital services, or cross‑border e‑commerce are a plus.
• Native or fluent Spanish, professional working English; Portuguese is a plus.
• Independent, proactive, and comfortable working toward ambitious sales targets.

Required skills

• Deep understanding of payment flows, acquiring, settlement, chargebacks, reserves, and payment integrations.
• Experience presenting and selling payment solutions across cards, bank transfers, digital wallets, and alternative payment methods.
