Medical Equipment Sales Representative

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Medical Equipment Sales Representative to drive our expansion across Panama. You will act as the bridge between U.S. manufacturers and Panamanian hospitals, leveraging the country’s strategic free‑trade zones and healthcare infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and penetrate private hospitals and clinics throughout Panama, focusing on Panama City and regional facilities.
• Utilise the advantages of Panama Pacífico and Colón Free Trade Zones to streamline import processes.
• Navigate MINSA (Ministry of Health) registration and ACODECO import requirements for medical devices.
• Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure smooth customs clearance and timely delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with hospital administrators, procurement officers, and key decision‑makers.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience selling medical equipment or pharmaceuticals in Panama.
• Proven knowledge of MINSA registration and ACODECO import regulations.
• Established network within the Panamanian healthcare sector.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Medical Sciences or a related field preferred.
