Maintenance Planner

About the role

3M is seeking a Maintenance Planner to ensure all maintenance activities in its Panama facility are well‑planned, executed on time and cost‑efficiently. You will collaborate with maintenance, operations and engineering teams to schedule preventive work, handle emergencies and support equipment upgrades.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage detailed maintenance schedules and work orders using the CMMS, covering cleaning, lubrication, inspections and replacements.
• Assign resources, generate work orders, and monitor daily, weekly and monthly compliance.
• Coordinate all maintenance activities, ensure safety and industry‑standard compliance, and maintain accurate records of work, equipment condition and costs.
• Work with engineering and operations to plan equipment modifications, procure spare parts and services, and manage vendor relationships.
• Audit maintenance processes, analyze data to identify failures, and drive improvements in KPIs and budgets.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electromechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• At least 3 years of experience using maintenance planning and scheduling software.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Required skills

• CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) usage.
• Data analysis with Power BI and Excel.
