Logistics Specialist – Central America

About the role

The Logistics Specialist will manage and optimise end‑to‑end logistics operations for HONOR across Panama and other Central American markets. The role coordinates international shipments, oversees local warehousing, ensures customs compliance and works with third‑party logistics providers to guarantee timely product delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate international freight (air and sea) from manufacturing hubs to Central American ports, track shipments and resolve delays.
• Manage import/export documentation, ensure compliance with Panamanian and regional customs regulations, and handle Free Trade Zone procedures.
• Oversee local 3PL warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, dispatch, and conduct regular inventory reconciliations and audits.
• Manage last‑mile delivery to distributors, retailers and carriers across the region.
• Monitor logistics expenses, analyse freight costs and implement cost‑optimisation strategies while maintaining service quality.
• Evaluate 3PL performance through KPI management and lead periodic reviews to meet SLAs.
• Utilise ERP systems such as SAP to process orders, update shipment status and maintain data integrity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade or related field.
• 3‑5 years of logistics or supply‑chain experience, preferably in consumer electronics or FMCG.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with Panama’s logistics hubs (e.g., Colon Free Zone) and Central American customs regulations.
• Strong problem‑solving, communication and analytical abilities in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or other ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
