Logistics Intern – Shipping & Documentation Support

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Logistics Intern to support our shipping and logistics operations in Colón, Panama. The role offers hands‑on experience in documentation, data management and coordination of inbound and outbound shipments, providing a solid foundation for a career in supply chain management.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and reviewing shipping and logistics documentation.
• Organize, file and maintain shipping records and related paperwork.
• Update logistics data in internal systems and spreadsheets.
• Support shipment tracking and provide status updates as needed.
• Help coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure shipping documents are complete, accurate and submitted on time.
• Communicate with internal departments to facilitate daily logistics operations.
• Assist with inventory and warehouse‑related administrative tasks.
• Support the Logistics team with reporting and data entry.
• Perform other administrative and operational duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or current studies) in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn.
• Intermediate proficiency in English preferred.
