About the role

Grupo Garnier is seeking a Finance & Accounting Manager to lead the financial, accounting and control functions for its operations in Panama. The successful candidate will ensure accurate financial reporting, support strategic decision‑making and drive continuous improvement of internal processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all financial and accounting processes across the group.
• Ensure timely and reliable monthly and annual close in compliance with applicable standards.
• Prepare, analyze and present financial statements, management reports and key performance indicators.
• Manage budgeting, cash‑flow forecasting and budgetary control.
• Analyze financial results, variances and profitability, providing actionable recommendations.
• Oversee accounts receivable, accounts payable, treasury, reconciliations and accounting controls.
• Guarantee compliance with Panamanian tax and regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and follow up on action plans.
• Strengthen financial policies, procedures and internal controls.
• Lead, develop and mentor the finance team.
• Provide financial support to General Management and other business areas.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration; CPA preferred.
• Minimum 5 years leading accounting teams and at least 10 years in finance/accounting roles.
• Proven experience in financial statement preparation, budgeting, cash‑flow management and financial control.
• Strong knowledge of Panamanian accounting and tax regulations.
• Advanced analytical, planning and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective leadership, communication and results‑orientation.
