Jefe de Ventas – Sector Financiero

About the role

Financiera Prisa, S.A. is seeking a dynamic Sales Leader to head its commercial team in Panama. The role focuses on driving personal loan placements through direct discount for private and government sector employees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, train, and monitor a team of Sales Executives.
• Develop and execute the commercial plan with monthly and weekly targets.
• Track daily client pipeline and placement goals.
• Ensure prompt prospect follow‑up and high‑quality documentation before credit review.
• Negotiate and activate agreements with private companies and public institutions.
• Conduct field visits and accompany sales activities.
• Follow up on approved, rejected, or pending disbursement requests.
• Prepare commercial reports and forecasts for senior management.
• Promote responsible commercial practices aligned with credit policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Economics or related field.
• At least 3 years of experience leading sales teams.
• Proven experience negotiating agreements with private or public entities.
• Strong results‑orientation with ability to work with targets and indicators.
• Experience in financial institutions, consumer banking or cooperatives.
• Knowledge of personal loans sold by direct discount to private and government employers.
