Hotel Maintenance Technician / Engineer

About the role

Hilton Garden Inn by Hilton Panama City is looking for a motivated Hotel Maintenance Technician or Engineer to keep our property operating smoothly. You will be responsible for maintaining all building systems, ensuring guest comfort, and supporting a high‑standard hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine and emergency maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and elevator systems.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
• Maintain guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces in excellent condition.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and building code regulations through regular inspections and record‑keeping.
• Monitor energy consumption, implement savings initiatives, and promote sustainable practices.
• Collaborate with housekeeping, front desk, and food & beverage teams to address maintenance requests promptly.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs or large‑scale projects.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience in hotel or commercial building maintenance with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
• Excellent time‑management and organizational abilities.
