Homeroom Teacher – 3rd Grade

About the role

The school is seeking a dedicated Homeroom Teacher for a 3rd‑grade classroom. The successful candidate will create a supportive learning environment, deliver the curriculum, and foster student growth academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver lesson plans aligned with school standards, using varied instructional strategies.
• Integrate technology and innovative methods to enhance learning.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Develop, administer, and analyze assessments to monitor student progress.
• Provide individualized support and collaborate with counselors and special‑education staff.
• Communicate regularly with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Contribute to curriculum development and ensure instructional materials are current.
• Participate in extracurricular activities and serve as a mentor.
• Uphold professional ethics, school policies, and confidentiality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Education.
• Certification in English.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
