Hematology Sales Manager (Panama)

About the role

The Hematology Sales Manager will lead a dedicated sales team to execute the therapeutic sales plan for Johnson & Johnson's hematology portfolio in Panama. This position combines strategic planning, team leadership, and direct customer engagement to drive demand generation and achieve sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Meet or exceed established sales goals through effective sales activities and participation in CVT strategy development.
• Lead specific sales events or projects aimed at improving performance.
• Collaborate closely with marketing and access teams to implement monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans.
• Set team and individual sales targets, coach representatives, and ensure compliance with local and company regulations.
• Analyze sales data to identify productivity opportunities and guide corrective actions.
• Manage the execution budget for micromarketing initiatives and support representatives with customer queries.
• Recruit, train, evaluate, and motivate sales representatives, administering promotions and incentives as needed.
• Establish and track performance metrics (KPIs, dashboards) and provide insights to CVT and management.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, preferably within oncology/hematology.
• Demonstrated leadership and people‑management capabilities.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Knowledge of local regulatory and compliance requirements.
