Fund Accountant – Investment Fund Administration

About the role

Our client is looking for a Fund Accountant to support investment fund accounting and administration across Panama, Mexico and Colombia. You will be responsible for accurate financial records, NAV calculations and investor reporting, working closely with fund, investment and investor‑facing teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting activities for investment funds, ensuring timely and accurate financial records.
• Prepare and review NAV calculations, including cash, investment, expense and accrual activity.
• Process and reconcile capital calls, distributions, investor contributions and other fund transactions.
• Prepare LP statements, investor allocations and periodic investor reporting.
• Perform detailed reconciliations and investigate discrepancies across fund, investor and financial data.
• Collaborate with internal teams, fund administrators, investors and other stakeholders to resolve accounting and reporting matters.
• Support monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration or related financial services.
• Hands‑on experience with private equity, hedge funds or similar investment structures.
• Strong understanding of NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, LP statements and investor reporting.
• Fluent written and spoken English with confidence communicating with U.S.‑based stakeholders.
• Highly detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
