About the role

Tigo is looking for an IT Development, Operations and Process Automation Specialist to promote collaboration, automation and secure continuous delivery of high‑quality software. The role focuses on improving communication, automating tasks, ensuring stability and performance, and enabling scalability across the software lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development teams to embed security practices from the earliest stages.
• Automate security testing, static and dynamic code analysis.
• Facilitate communication and collaboration between development, operations and security teams.
• Automate the software delivery process to enable continuous delivery.
• Manage infrastructure and configuration, monitoring pipeline performance and underlying resources.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, stability, performance and scalability of systems.
• Research and adopt new technologies in a controlled environment.
• Collect and analyze security metrics, prepare safety reports and conduct regular risk assessments.
• Adjust security strategies based on emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering (Master’s preferred).
• Experience in iterative/agile software development lifecycles, DevOps and Scrum methodologies.
• Hands‑on experience with APIs, web services, web‑based and mobile solutions.
• Ability to work with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience with CMS platforms such as Drupal and WordPress.
• Knowledge of Node.js, PHP, Java and NoSQL databases like Cassandra and Couchbase.
• Operating‑system and virtualization administration experience.
