About the role

The Director of Information Systems will lead the technology and Business Intelligence strategy, ensuring that infrastructure, systems, data, and digital solutions are aligned with business objectives. This senior leader will drive digital transformation, optimise processes and turn information into actionable decision‑making tools.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the corporate technology and digital transformation strategy.
• Lead technology projects and manage the portfolio of initiatives, ensuring timelines, resources and objectives are met.
• Oversee Business Intelligence strategy, including the development of dashboards, reports and Power BI indicators.
• Promote strategic data use to identify opportunities, trends and deviations that improve efficiency and profitability.
• Supervise technology infrastructure, networks, operational continuity and information security.
• Manage ERP, CRM, e‑commerce and other technology platforms used by the organisation.
• Define and enforce data‑governance and information‑quality guidelines.
• Administer the technology budget and prioritise investments according to strategic needs.
• Negotiate with technology vendors, contracts and service agreements.
• Identify technological risks, coordinate system audits and implement corrective action plans.
• Lead, develop and train the technology team.

Required profile

• University degree in Systems Engineering, Information Systems, Technology or related fields.
• Master’s degree in Technology, Project Management, Digital Transformation, Business Administration or related area (highly valued).
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Minimum 8 years of experience leading technology teams and managing large‑scale projects.
• Experience in infrastructure, vendor negotiation and service management.
• Preferred background in retail or multi‑store organisations.
• Experience in digital transformation, data governance, cybersecurity and business continuity.
