Digital Innovation & AI Automation Expert

About the role

As a Digital Innovation & AI Automation Expert you will lead AI and automation initiatives that boost productivity, simplify processes, and deliver measurable value for Philips. Based in the Panama hub, you will collaborate with business teams, solution architects and delivery groups to spot opportunities, shape scalable solutions and ensure successful implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a solution‑driven business partner, identifying AI, automation and digitalisation opportunities while supporting Agile release planning, PI workshops and continuous improvement.
• Partner with business stakeholders to understand pain points, define requirements, assess value and translate needs into clear solution concepts and business cases.
• Work closely with Solution Architects, Enterprise Architects, Business Process Experts, Platform Analysts, DevOps and delivery teams to design integrated, scalable, secure and reusable solutions.
• Lead or support small‑ to medium‑sized AI and automation initiatives, ensuring quality, timely delivery, adoption and realization of expected benefits.
• Build AI and automation capability across the organization, contributing to the Panama Digital Innovation HUB through awareness sessions, training, best‑practice sharing and communities of practice.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business Analytics or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in AI, automation, digital transformation, software development, IT applications, process optimisation or low‑code platforms.
• Hands‑on experience designing solutions with Generative AI, Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, RPA, workflow automation and data‑analytics tools, plus strong knowledge of AI governance, responsible AI, security, data privacy and compliance.
• Proven ability to translate business challenges into practical digital solutions, communicate with technical and non‑technical audiences and work effectively in Agile delivery environments.
