About the role

PwC is seeking a Legal Consultant to join its Tax Services team in Panama City. As an Associate, you will support clients in navigating local and international tax obligations, providing strategic advice on indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on tax matters and assist with compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
• Support dispute resolution processes with tax authorities.
• Analyse data, prepare tax reports, and ensure risk‑management and compliance procedures are followed.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop tax strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of tax regulations and PwC professional standards.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Law and Political Science.
• 1–2 years of experience in a legal firm handling procedures with various authorities.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English.
• Working towards or holding a legal qualification (idoneidad).
• Proactive, team‑oriented attitude with a strong desire to learn tax matters.
