About the role

The Inter-American Development Bank (Grupo BID) is seeking a proactive IT professional to provide on‑site technical support for its Panama office. You will ensure that end‑users can effectively use hardware, software, connectivity, and training resources in a collaborative, inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day IT support to end‑users, maintaining hardware, software, and network connectivity.
• Provision and manage standard workstations throughout their lifecycle according to corporate guidelines.
• Maintain web‑conference equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist with the upkeep of IT infrastructure, including networks, telecommunications, security systems, and coordinate with local service providers.
• Support the rollout of new IT initiatives, acting as a liaison between IT teams and business units.
• Keep operational documentation up to date and record incidents, requests, and reports in the ticketing system.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a customer‑facing role.
• Familiarity with PMI project management standards and Agile/Lean methodologies is a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.

Required skills

• Windows 11 operating system.
• Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and related collaboration platforms.
• Android and iOS mobile device management.
• Active Directory / Azure AD and Microsoft Intune.
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments.
• Dell computer hardware maintenance.
• ITIL incident and request management processes.
• ServiceNow platform experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 continuous‑improvement frameworks.
• Understanding of AI and generative AI technologies and ethical considerations.
