Buyer – Commodities Cereals & Grains (Hybrid, Panama)

About the role

As a Buyer for Cereals & Grains at Nestlé Global Procurement, you will support the implementation of the category strategy on regional and global levels. You will work with strategic sourcing tools to ensure compliance, efficiency and responsible sourcing across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Nestlé’s Responsible Sourcing Standard and corporate policies.
• Support the category team with data analysis, KPI monitoring and contract management.
• Prepare and participate in negotiation events, providing relevant data and analysis.
• Negotiate contracts within your spend area, manage supplier relationships and coordinate stakeholders across the Americas.
• Maintain effective contract documentation and oversee spend compliance.

Required profile

• University degree in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Economics or International Trade.
• Previous procurement experience with proven risk‑management and responsible‑sourcing expertise.
• Strong communication, influencing and collaboration abilities across complex organisations.
• Excellent organisational skills and fluency in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
