Auditor de Costos e Inventarios

About the role

The Cost and Inventory Auditor will ensure accurate cost control across all restaurant locations, evaluate purchasing, and guarantee proper inventory management in line with Grupo Maito’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly price analysis reports for menu items and category cost reports for recipes and branches.
• Generate weekly and monthly sales reports highlighting best‑ and worst‑selling dishes.
• Collaborate with chefs to calculate recipe costs and redesign menus.
• Conduct market price comparisons with competitors.
• Create and maintain inventory templates, production and waste formats, and perform weekly/monthly physical and digital inventory audits.
• Verify daily sales data to ensure consistency between Marketmann and INVU systems.
• Analyze sales, reconcile general ledger entries with Marketmann and INVU, and update all restaurant recipe books in the system.
• Train managers, administrators, and assistants on inventory systems, invoice recording, and waste management.
• Supervise the department support team and perform additional tasks as directed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in restaurant administration or similar environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related field; specialization in Costs, Auditing or Finance is a plus.
• Age between 30 and 40 years.
• Strong attention to detail, ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently, and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of Marketmann, INVU, Odoo, Quickbooks, Deliverrect and Shogo platforms.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with retail ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle (optional).
