Accounting Manager – 100% Remote

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the accounting function for one or more US‑based entities. This fully remote position is ideal for professionals who have managed the complete accounting cycle, driven month‑end close, and mentored junior accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end accounting for multiple US entities or clients.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
• Manage general ledger, journal entries, account reconciliations, and fixed‑asset accounting.
• Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash‑management activities.
• Review balance‑sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, KPIs, budgets, and forecasts.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with US GAAP.
• Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors during audits.
• Support process improvements, automation, and ERP implementation projects.
• Mentor and review work of accounting team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 6–8+ years of accounting and finance experience with strong US exposure.
• Proven experience managing full month‑end and year‑end close cycles.
• Team leadership or people‑management experience.
• Excellent communication skills with senior stakeholders.
• Preferred professional qualification: CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
