Account Manager / Collection Specialist

About the role

Join a SERVPRO® franchise as an Account Manager/Collection Specialist and help customers recover from fire and water damage. You will provide exceptional service while managing overdue accounts and ensuring timely payments.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments and arrange debt payoffs.
• Maintain accurate records, generate open‑invoice reports, and perform job close‑out.
• Communicate with customers to resolve billing and credit issues, send notices, and place liens when necessary.
• Handle general phone calls, greet visitors, and deliver friendly, professional customer service.

Required profile

• 2+ years of collections or related experience.
• Knowledge of billing procedures, collection techniques, and relevant debt‑collection laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with a courteous, professional tone.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to stay calm under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to learn and use Xactimate® and proprietary software.
