Key responsibilities

• Conduct on-site inspections of critical equipment and address failures that impact hotel operations.
• Review and approve purchase orders essential to hotel operations.
• Consult with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals on work procedures, construction issues, MEP systems, testing & commissioning, and fire & life safety.
• Interpret and explain plans and contract terms to administrative staff, workers, and clients.
• Plan, organize, and direct activities related to the maintenance of structures, facilities, and systems.
• Prepare and submit cost estimates, progress reports, and cost tracking reports.
• Develop and implement quality control programs.
• Provide equipment specifications and support purchasing decisions.
• Maintain communication with corporate colleagues and mentor employees to ensure service standards.
• Collaborate with Human Resources to recruit, interview, and hire engineering team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of management experience in the field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Project management skills.
• English proficiency at B2 level.
