TA Head Oncology

About the role

As TA Head Oncology, you will shape a compelling local therapeutic area vision by translating global strategy into country priorities and mobilising cross‑functional partners across Commercial, Medical and Value & Access. You will lead launch planning, accelerate brand performance and build strong external stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Create and execute a local Oncology strategy aligned with global direction and market insights.
• Mobilise cross‑functional teams around shared vision, priorities and measurable outcomes.
• Lead launch planning and execution for strategic Oncology brands.
• Own commercial performance for priority brands, delivering sales and growth targets.
• Activate customer engagement models using digital and non‑digital channels.
• Build trusted partnerships with government, payers, patient organisations and other external stakeholders.
• Anticipate market dynamics and access challenges to inform therapeutic area strategy.
• Lead business transformation within a complex matrix environment.
• Attract, retain and develop diverse talent, building high‑performing teams.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree with substantial senior commercial leadership experience.
• Proven P&L management success delivering top‑ and bottom‑line targets.
• Track record defining and implementing launch strategy for specialty healthcare brands.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate market insights into strategy.
• Experience building long‑term external stakeholder partnerships and addressing access/reimbursement challenges.
• Demonstrated customer centricity with outcome‑oriented engagement initiatives.
• Experience leading transformation in complex matrix organisations.
• Fluent in English.
