Senior SDET – GovTech Industry

About the role

Truelogic is building a new engineering team to expand automated test coverage for a portfolio of more than 20 SaaS products serving the public sector and education markets. As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET), you will create production‑quality automated tests, improve system reliability, and boost developer confidence across the suite.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
• Increase test coverage and identify quality risks in existing applications.
• Leverage AI tools such as Claude and Copilot to accelerate test creation and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve test failures across application, infrastructure, and data layers.
• Reduce flaky tests and improve CI/CD pipeline stability.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance testability of production systems.
• Establish scalable testing standards, tools, and best practices across multiple products.

Required profile

• Strong programming experience in C#.
• Proven track record developing automated unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as xUnit, JUnit, Jest, and Playwright.
• Solid understanding of testing concepts including mocking, test isolation, and test design.
• Excellent debugging skills and ability to work across application, infrastructure, and data layers.
