Support Engineer - Veterinary HealthTech

About the role

The Support Engineer acts as the technical bridge between the Platform Engineering team and the Customer Experience (CX) organization for a veterinary software company. You will own onboarding and de‑commissioning workflows, execute data migrations, and resolve platform‑level escalations while collaborating closely with Customer Success and Implementation managers.

Key responsibilities

• Execute technical onboarding and off‑boarding workflows, including environment provisioning, configuration, integration setup, and data imports/exports.
• Perform structured data migrations with validation, transformation, and quality‑assurance checks.
• Own the queue of technical tickets escalated by CX, triage, prioritize, and resolve complex issues.
• Partner with Customer Success and Implementation managers to set timelines, communicate outcomes, and document processes.
• Analyze recurring ticket patterns to develop tooling, automation, or improved documentation.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with AWS core services (RDS, S3, EC2, ECS) and ability to run smoke tests.
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub for creating, reviewing, and merging pull requests.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills for customer calls and documentation.
• Solid understanding of basic security hygiene, data privacy, and least‑privilege principles.
• Experience with ticketing/help‑desk platforms such as Jira, Intercom, or Front.
