Senior Business Analyst – Finance IT (SAP)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join Nestlé’s regional Finance IT organization in Panama City. The role bridges Finance business needs with SAP and digital solutions, driving functional analysis, configuration, testing and continuous improvement of SAP Finance processes. You will work closely with Finance stakeholders, IT product teams and external partners across multiple countries.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, challenge and document Finance business requirements, pain points and improvement opportunities for SAP Finance processes.
• Translate requirements into functional designs, configuration proposals, process flows, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Execute or coordinate SAP Finance configuration within the governance model, assessing integration impacts with related SAP modules such as procurement, sales, treasury and controlling.
• Coordinate on‑shore and off‑shore developers, vendors and support teams to deliver approved enhancements and fixes.
• Prepare and execute unit, integration and user‑acceptance testing, manage defects and obtain business sign‑off.
• Support cut‑over, deployment, hyper‑care and stabilization activities for projects, roll‑outs and regulatory changes.
• Provide advanced functional support for SAP Finance incidents, lead root‑cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
• Monitor solution quality, data integrity and compliance with security, architecture and SAP governance standards.
• Maintain functional documentation, configuration records, process guides, test assets and training materials.
• Deliver knowledge transfer and training to key users and support teams.
• Contribute to the Finance IT product roadmap, prioritising demand based on value, risk and regional impact.
• Support Finance Copilot activities and assist with monitoring and analysis of the regional CARCAM IT budget.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as a Business Analyst or functional consultant in Finance IT, preferably within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of SAP Finance (FICO) processes and ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Proven track record of coordinating cross‑functional teams, including on‑shore and off‑shore resources.
• Excellent communication skills to work with Finance stakeholders, IT product owners and external vendors.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and deliver results under tight deadlines.
