Senior Back-End Developer (Java)

About the role

Join a global insights and strategy firm to design, develop, and enhance a data‑driven platform serving multiple industries. You will work remotely with a robust team of engineers, applying Java expertise and modern technologies to deliver high‑performance solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java‑based back‑end services using Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with front‑end engineers (JavaScript, React) to integrate data visualisation features.
• Implement AI/LLM‑based solutions and support product experimentation (A/B testing, KPI tracking).
• Write automated unit tests, conduct code reviews, and follow SDLC best practices.
• Ensure code meets performance, reliability, security, and scalability standards for high‑traffic environments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional Java back‑end development experience.
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, OOP, and performance optimisation.
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, Redshift) and building scalable data pipelines.
• Proven ability to work with cross‑functional product teams and deliver high‑quality software.
