SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll Analyst

About the role

The Employee Central Payroll Functional Analyst is a key member of the Software and Data Development Team, responsible for the portfolio of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll (ECP) applications, integrations and processes. The role designs, configures and supports payroll operations across multiple countries, ensuring regulatory compliance and seamless integration with HR and Finance systems.

Key responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll for multiple countries, including payroll schemas, wage types and infotype management.
• Ensure compliance with local tax, social security and labor laws in the supported geographies.
• Support configuration and continuous improvement of Employee Central Time Management and its integration with payroll.
• Collect, analyse and document payroll and time‑data requirements.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance and local payroll teams to align configurations with legal and organisational requirements.
• Propose enhancements and automation opportunities to improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor and optimise payroll processing cycles and calendar alignment.
• Coordinate support activities with external AMS providers and SAP, managing incidents, change requests and SLA compliance.
• Work with vendors during testing, releases and implementation cycles.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Software Engineering or a related field.
• 4+ years of experience as a SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Payroll functional manager, lead, payroll lead or AMS manager.
• Active SAP SFSF EC Payroll certification (mandatory).
• Additional certifications in SAP SFSF modules or payroll management are a plus.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (both oral and written).
