Líder Técnico – Desarrollo Full Stack

About the role

We are looking for a Technical Leader to drive the design and implementation of secure, high‑performance software solutions for a financial institution in Panama City. You will act as the bridge between architecture and delivery, ensuring that both frontend and backend components meet the highest standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the technical execution of the team to deliver scalable, secure software.
• Supervise and develop critical frontend (Angular, TypeScript) and backend (Java Quarkus on Azure) components.
• Validate OpenAPI contracts and manage communication between Azure services and AWS Lambda adapters.
• Conduct code reviews, define technical standards, and enforce cyber‑security guidelines.
• Manage cloud infrastructure dependencies, connectivity, and data access in SyBase/COBIS.
• Identify and mitigate vulnerabilities in data flows and legacy integrations.
• Present technical decisions to Architecture, DevOps, and Security teams.
• Mentor developers and align efforts with QA automation strategy.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• 4‑6 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years leading technical teams in the financial sector.
• Proven expertise in Scrum and Kanban methodologies.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Global Bank building in Santa María, Panama City for a 12‑month project with possible continuation.
