Laravel Developer + React – Remote (Latin America)

About the role

Bluelight Consulting is seeking an experienced Laravel Developer with strong React skills to join its remote team serving clients across the United States and Latin America. You will work on high‑impact projects, building robust back‑end services and modern front‑end interfaces while collaborating in a fast‑paced, supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Laravel applications (version 8+).
• Build and consume RESTful APIs using Laravel and Inertia.js.
• Implement front‑end features with React (or Vue.js/Livewire) and integrate Tailwind CSS where needed.
• Write automated tests using Pest, PHPUnit, Laravel Dusk, or Playwright.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver estimates, meet deadlines, and ensure high code quality.
• Provide technical guidance and take ownership of delivered solutions.

Required profile

• 4+ years of professional experience with Laravel (8 or newer).
• Proficiency with Eloquent ORM, Laravel authentication, and query builder.
• Hands‑on experience with testing tools such as Pest, PHPUnit, Dusk, or Playwright.
• Experience building APIs and using Inertia.js.
• Solid front‑end development background (React preferred, Vue.js or Livewire a plus).
• Ability to work autonomously, focus on client goals, and maintain meticulous attention to detail.
