About the role

The company is seeking a senior Human Resources leader to drive the full spectrum of HR activities, ensuring alignment with business goals and compliance with Panamanian labor law. The role will be based in Panamá Oeste and will work closely with senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute HR strategy and operations in line with corporate objectives.
• Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, and development programs.
• Manage labor relations, including negotiations with unions and employee representatives.
• Ensure compliance with Panamanian labor regulations and internal policies.
• Design, implement, and monitor HR policies, procedures, and performance indicators.
• Lead initiatives for performance evaluation, compensation, and benefits.
• Support leaders in team management and talent‑related decision making.
• Plan workforce needs to guarantee operational continuity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in HR leadership positions.
• Proven experience managing large employee populations and leading HR teams.
• Strong background in labor relations, collective bargaining, and conflict resolution.
• In‑depth knowledge of Panamanian labor legislation.
• Hands‑on experience in recruitment, development, compensation, benefits, and performance management.
• Ability to collaborate closely with senior management.
• Willingness to work in Panamá Oeste.
• Intermediate to advanced English (desired).
