Domain Consultant 2 – Cortex

About the role

As a Domain Consultant for SOC Transformation, you will be the expert for Palo Alto Networks' Cortex portfolio, a next‑gen AI‑powered security operations platform. You will define technical solutions that secure customers' key business imperatives and evangelize industry‑leading security intelligence, automation, XDR, attack surface management, SOAR and incident response.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with account teams to recommend and develop customer solutions within the Cortex specialization.
• Present to customers at all levels, from practitioners to senior leadership, and act as the main technical point of contact for RFIs/RFPs.
• Lead and support demonstrations, proof‑of‑value projects, and technical validation to drive win rates.
• Architect solutions, document high‑level designs and key use cases, and help customers build services around Cortex.
• Provide feedback to product management, technical marketing, and R&D on customer needs and competitive landscape.

Required profile

• 6+ years experience in Security Operations, pre‑sales or sales engineering within SIEM, SOAR, SOC, and/or XDR/EDR environments.
• Proven ability to work with customers, demonstrate problem‑solving skills and a can‑do attitude.
• Solid understanding of SOC processes and advanced knowledge of SIEM and/or SOAR solutions.
• Fluent English communication skills.

• Security Operations Center (SOC) processes.
• SIEM and SOAR technologies.
• XDR/EDR concepts.
• Scripting – Python preferred.
