Camp Services Foreman

About the role

The Camp Services Foreman is responsible for safety, work schedules, task allocation and supervision of cleaning, laundry and general services staff at the Cobre Panamá camp. The role ensures daily operations run safely and efficiently while maintaining high‑quality facility standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily camp operations, guaranteeing safety and efficiency.
• Assign tasks to cleaning, laundry and general services personnel using need analysis and skill assessment.
• Manage store requests, inventory control and minimum stock levels according to company policies.
• Enforce health and safety regulations, creating a safe environment for all camp occupants.
• Oversee cleaning of facilities, conduct regular inspections of accommodations, common areas, warehouses and offices to verify compliance with company standards.
• Lead and participate in staff training on HSE, hygiene, food safety and HACCP procedures.
• Coordinate with the camp maintenance team for ongoing facility upkeep.
• Perform logistics activities such as vehicle operation, transport of personnel, materials, equipment and supplies between work sites and the camp.
• Ensure the laundry schedule is met, instructing staff on equipment use, cleaning products and safety procedures.
• Carry out any additional tasks required to support camp operations.

Required profile

• Tertiary education in Tourism, Hotel Administration or a related field, or equivalent proven experience.
• Valid food‑handler certificate and health card.
• 1‑2 years of experience managing camp services or similar hospitality operations in a supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to delegate, organize resources, manage performance and plan tasks effectively.
