Assistant Manager – Infrastructure

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Infrastructure will lead the planning, operation and optimisation of critical infrastructure services that keep mining activities running safely and efficiently. This role combines hands‑on technical oversight with strategic leadership across dewatering, electrical supply and road networks within an open‑pit environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee dewatering systems, ensuring pumps, pipelines and related infrastructure operate reliably and align with short‑ and medium‑term mine plans.
• Manage electrical infrastructure, including overhead power lines, electrification of shovels and drills, and trolley line projects, while maintaining compliance with safety standards.
• Supervise construction and maintenance of in‑pit roads, guaranteeing safety, drainage and optimal haulage performance.
• Lead Dewatering, Electrical and Road Maintenance Superintendents, integrating their activities with production schedules, monitoring KPIs and driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 8–10 years of experience in open‑pit mining operations.
• Proven track record managing infrastructure services such as dewatering, electrical systems or road networks.
• Experience in supervisory or management roles within large‑scale mining projects.
• Strong background in project execution and operational support.
