About the role

The Cost Management Analyst will support the Distribution & Transportation function across LAN & CENCA by integrating financial and operational data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to senior leadership. This individual contributor role works independently within defined processes and collaborates with finance, procurement, operations, and logistics partners.

Key responsibilities

• Consolidate and validate inputs for annual budgets, forecasts, and long‑range planning for distribution and transportation.
• Analyze actual results versus budget and prior year, quantify variances, document root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
• Develop financial models to assess volume, inflation, FX rates, tariffs, productivity, and sourcing decisions.
• Maintain key performance indicators, dashboards, accruals, forecasts, and prepare executive presentations on performance, risks, and opportunities.
• Create, modify, and track purchase orders in SAP, monitor balances, service receipts, and ensure procure‑to‑pay documentation is complete.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in financial analysis, cost control, supply chain finance, logistics analytics or comparable function.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Professional proficiency in English and Spanish for regional interaction and reporting.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and escalate issues appropriately.
