About the role

The Level 1 Customer Service Agent is the first point of contact for residential and SME customers of Tigo. You will provide fast, empathetic assistance on television, telephone and internet services, helping to ensure a positive experience and strengthen customer loyalty.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general phone support for TV, telephone and internet services, answering customer questions and resolving issues.
• Manage billing inquiries, including reviewing statements, payments, adjustments and reported discrepancies.
• Handle queries about technical visits, service scheduling, damage reports, additional procedures, store locations, coverage and other related services.
• Advise customers on the use, benefits and features of Tigo’s offerings, promoting an informed and satisfying experience.
• Encourage the use of self‑service tools and guide customers to digital channels to increase autonomy and reduce handling time.
• Proactively propose relevant products and services that match customer needs.

Required profile

• High school diploma completed or currently pursuing university studies.
• Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, preferably in a telecom environment.
• Fluent Spanish; English is a plus.
• Strong customer focus, empathy, effective communication, adaptability and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills and ability to use standard technological tools.
