Financial Controlling Specialist – Panama City

About the role

Join Pandora’s Latin America team as a Financial Controlling Specialist based in Panama City. You will support the Controlling Manager in ensuring accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and audit readiness across the LATAM cluster.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Controlling Manager with financial controlling activities across the cluster.
• Coordinate statutory audit processes and liaise with external auditors and local advisors.
• Support monthly closing and corporate reporting for two of the six markets.
• Perform analytical reviews of financial data and ensure alignment with Group policies.
• Collaborate with GBS and local finance teams to maintain complete and accurate records.
• Oversee inventory‑related financial processes, reconciliations, and controls.
• Prepare and submit financial information to Cluster and Group Finance.
• Conduct balance‑sheet reviews, reconciliations, and ensure key controls are effective.
• Provide guidance on IFRS application and accounting treatments to local teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance reporting quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in financial controlling or external audit, preferably with a Big 4 firm.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional teams.
