About the role

The Finance Director will lead the accounting, tax, financial and internal control strategy of the bank and its subsidiaries. The role ensures regulatory compliance, financial information integrity, risk management and protection of assets while providing timely, reliable data for senior decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and present financial information to the Board, committees and senior management.
• Oversee the consolidation and reporting of financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and external audit requirements.
• Manage tax planning, filing of corporate income tax returns and other statutory tax obligations.
• Deliver regulatory reports to supervisory authorities and ensure timely compliance.
• Strengthen internal control frameworks, policies and procedures to safeguard assets.
• Lead strategic transformation projects, automation initiatives and process integration across finance and operations.
• Develop and monitor performance indicators, dashboards and executive reports.
• Act as primary liaison with regulators, external auditors, internal audit, compliance and risk functions.
• Coordinate responses to regulatory inspections and implement corrective action plans.
• Build, develop and lead high‑performing finance teams, fostering a culture of excellence and ethical conduct.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting; CPA certification required.
• Completed Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration or related field.
• Advanced English (written and spoken).
• More than 10 years of experience in accounting, financial control, audit and regulatory compliance within banking or recognized audit firms.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams in regulated financial institutions.
