About the role
As a Universal Advisor at FNB, you will work in a high‑volume branch environment delivering a seamless, customer‑centric experience. You will identify client needs, provide appropriate banking solutions, and guide customers toward digital and self‑service channels while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities
- Engage walk‑in and existing customers professionally, addressing their inquiries and needs.
- Identify, sell, and cross‑sell banking products that align with customer requirements.
- Promote and educate customers on e‑Channels, digital platforms, and self‑service options.
- Process transactions efficiently, meeting performance benchmarks.
- Manage leads, referrals, and follow‑ups within agreed timeframes.
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, TCF, and internal governance.
Required profile
- Minimum Grade 12/NQF Level 4; NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service or related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in customer‑facing roles within financial services.
- Strong understanding of FAIS, TCF principles, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to meet sales, service, and customer experience targets.
- Must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent.
