About the role

This full‑time pharmacist position is based in a locally owned pharmacy, focused on delivering health, beauty and convenience services while keeping the customer at the centre of every interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing medication and providing professional consultation to customers and health‑care providers.
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial and regulatory requirements, maintaining privacy, confidentiality and consent management.
• Provide counselling on prescriptions, over‑the‑counter and behind‑the‑counter products, and practice the expanded scope of professional services.
• Maintain accurate records, control substances under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, and report to Health Canada as required.
• Oversee workflow queues, inventory levels, expired stock, and medication orders from wholesalers.
• Support store image, financial reporting, incident reporting and health‑and‑safety procedures.

Required profile

• Independent thinker with strong decision‑making abilities.
• Proven leadership skills: planning, coordinating, delegating and coaching pharmacy staff.
• Commitment to exceptional customer service and professional conduct.
• Strong problem‑solving capabilities and ability to develop action plans.
• Willingness to complete mandatory training and continuing education.

Required skills
