About the role
The Card Liaison Officer will deliver exceptional service to business and fleet credit‑card clients, ensuring prompt assistance, understanding client needs, and converting leads into active accounts. You will work within a dynamic sales environment to meet annual portfolio targets while upholding FNB’s commitment to ethical conduct and innovation.
Key responsibilities
- Provide prompt, high‑quality service to cardholders, processing requests and addressing inquiries.
- Apply sales processes to achieve unit sales targets and grow the active account base.
- Drive net profit growth by managing and expanding fleet and business credit‑card portfolios.
- Increase card utilisation, issue additional cards, and manage limit enhancements.
- Maintain expert knowledge of product features, pricing, controls, and application procedures.
- Track sales activity, produce accurate statistics, and ensure compliance with governance, credit and audit requirements.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Business Management, Marketing, Sales or a related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in sales, credit‑card or financial services.
- Strong negotiation and closing abilities with a value‑based selling approach.
- Ability to translate technical product features into clear client benefits.
