About the role
As a Universal Advisor Lead at FNB, you will work within a high‑volume branch environment to deliver compliant sales and service solutions to walk‑in and existing customers. The role focuses on providing exceptional customer experiences while driving the migration of customers to digital and self‑service channels.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administration support to ensure smooth operation of the branch’s Administration and Risk functions.
- Engage customers professionally, understand their needs and recommend appropriate banking and financial solutions.
- Promote and educate customers on digital platforms, e‑Channels and self‑service options.
- Achieve transaction benchmarks while maintaining high service standards.
- Manage leads, referrals and follow‑ups within agreed turnaround times.
- Maintain accurate customer records and ensure compliance with FAIS, FICA, TCF and internal governance.
- Uphold ethical standards and take accountability for personal performance and development.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
- Preferred: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service or related field recognised by FAIS.
- 1–3 years experience in customer‑facing, service delivery or client support within financial services.
- Strong understanding of FAIS, TCF principles and regulatory compliance.
- Proven ability to meet sales, service and customer experience targets.
- Must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent.
