About the role

The Electrical Technician 1 is responsible for maintaining and repairing the electrical systems of Liebherr trucks. The role involves applying fundamental concepts of electricity, interpreting technical drawings, and using specialized diagnostic equipment to ensure reliable operation of 24 V electrical components.

Key responsibilities

• Apply DC and AC electricity principles, calculate test currents, and assess cable electrical capacity.
• Interpret and work from electrical schematics and unit measurement systems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot solid‑state devices such as SCRs and controlled rectifiers used in truck components.
• Identify and handle insulating materials, understanding their physical and mechanical properties.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on 24 V systems following Liebherr OEM manuals.
• Conduct basic high‑voltage inspections, component replacements, and assist senior technicians.
• Operate diagnostic tools including Fluke Megger, multimeters, clamp meters, thermographic cameras, and test benches.
• Generate fault, inspection, quality, and repair reports, documenting any component changes with supporting data.
• Complete work orders, perform metrological measurements, and apply correct torque values according to factory specifications.
• Ensure safe, environmentally‑friendly work practices, conduct risk analyses, and maintain a clean work area.

Required profile

• Technical education in electricity or related field.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Experience with preventive and corrective maintenance of industrial electrical systems.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality standards.
